The Khekor collar was handmade for me by elderly woman when I was in Yushu, Tibet. They are made from the tails of Yak/Dru, then dyed red. The Khekor serves the purpose of protecting the TM from predators(wolves and snow leopards) and signifies the high status the dog has in the community. |
